We blogged about Colo recently, and here is another neat beat-mulch from them. This time they take on Liverpool’s upcoming folkies Stealing Sheep and plunge them headfirst into sub-bass and organic sounding clap rhythms. The slowly progressing bassline and hypermelodic leaning gives it a similar bent to the remix work of CFCF and Four Tet. In a week where most people are descending on Texas looking for the next-big-thing, it’s nice to unearth some gold without jumping on a plane, or standing in a queue.
